The advertising industry was hit hard last year as companies pulled back on their ad spends. This year, however, the industry is taking a turn for the better. Businesses are expected to spend 25.5 percent more this year on digital ads and 18 percent more this year on all media ad spending. That’s a good sign for Denver-based Choozle.

Choozle is a self-service digital advertising platform. Campaigns can run across various mediums, including video, audio, mobile and connected TV, with all data and management done on Choozle’s platform. The company announced on Friday it closed a $15 million Series C funding round led by Boathouse Capital.

“It’s a testament to our team and platform that we maintained consistent financial growth despite the uncertainties of the last year,” Andrew Fischer, the company’s CEO and co-founder, said in a statement. “This additional investment enables us to continue to bring self-serve solutions to the mid-market while aggressively investing in our product.”

Future product investment includes new user identity solutions and targeting capabilities helping marketers run successful digital campaigns without relying on Google’s third-party cookies, Branden Miller, VP of sales and account management, told Built In.

Choozle’s platform is used by Papa John’s, Creighton University, Dealer.com and several advertising agencies, including Madden Media, Thayer Media and OnScreen Media.

Since launching in 2012, Choozle has raised $30.5 million, including a $6 million Series B funding round in 2017. The digital advertising platform currently has 63 employees and is actively hiring engineers, a platform operations specialist and a solutions manager.
