Ascent360 closes $4.1M Series A after doubling business in 2018
Golden-based Ascent360 is finishing out 2018 strong with the completion of a $4.1 million Series A funding round. The investment comes after a year of triple-digit growth in which the company doubled the size of its business and earned a spot on Outdoor Magazine’s Top 50 Best Places to Work. The company plans to use the new capital to continue building out features and integrations for its customer database platform. The Series A round was led by Fulcrum Equity Partners with support from Access Venture Partners, NelNet, Bialla Venture Partners and Rockies Venture Club. [Read more.]
Tendril gets strategic investment from Rubicon Technology Partners
On Tuesday, Home energy management company Tendril secured a majority investment from Rubicon Technology Partners, with Morgan Stanley Alternative Investments and ZOMA Capital contributing minority investments in the company. The new capital will help the company grow by enabling it to focus on tech innovation, expand its sales operations and pursue strategic acquisition opportunities. “We are seeing tremendous uptake of our HEM platform. HomeSphere brings on Twitter veteran as CRO
Denver-based construction technology company HomeSphere added two new C-level executives to its team this week, bringing on a chief revenue officer and chief financial officer. Twitter veteran Greg Schwarzer joined the team as its CRO, bringing with him years of experience leading sales teams, sales operations and product rollouts for large and small technology companies — including his own consulting firm. Dena Glover, an 11-year veteran at HomeSphere, was promoted to CFO, where she’ll focus on aligning the company’s processes and vision to ensure its ongoing financial success.
PromonTech CTO Michael Kolbrener named 2018 HousingWire Vanguard Award winner
Michael Kolbrener, CTO of Denver-based mortgage technology company PromonTech, won a 2018 HousingWire Vanguard Award for his leadership and product innovation in the fintech space. Kolbrener helped launched the company’s point-of-sale lending platform Borrow Wallet in 2017 and its IncomeAI income calculation engine in September.
