Manage end-to-end month-end and quarter-end close across global entities, oversee intercompany billing, settlements, transfer pricing execution, FX analysis and eliminations. Partner with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Finance Data to operationalize entity launches and intercompany agreements. Design and document SOX controls, lead GL projects (M&A integrations, new entity setups, ERP/NetSuite enhancements), and mentor direct reports to drive operational excellence and scalability.

Lead and scale day-to-day operations for DraftKings Exchange, managing electronic trading, market monitoring, incident resolution, participant onboarding, and cross-functional initiatives. Drive tooling, analyze market and operational data to improve integrity and performance, support regulatory readiness, and collaborate with Engineering, Product, Regulatory, and Analytics to launch and optimize prediction market capabilities.

Own IT-specific Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for ITGCs and ITACs. Assess SOX readiness for systems and process changes, maintain control documentation, coordinate walkthroughs and remediation, liaise with internal/external auditors, review SOC reports, oversee testing programs, and identify automation and AI opportunities to strengthen controls and reporting.

Own complex monthly close areas, including stock compensation, leases, payroll accruals, intercompany, and foreign currency. Review accounting work, manage close critical paths, prepare audit support, design SOX-ready controls, and support migration from Xero to a scalable ERP. Coach accounting staff and build AI-powered automation for reconciliations, schedules, narratives, and workflows.

Manage the full collections and accounts receivable lifecycle, including recovery strategy, balance holds, ACH returns, write-offs, journal entries, forecasting, and risk controls. Lead collections analysts and specialists, monitor aging and recovery KPIs, handle escalations, and partner with Finance, Risk, Sales, Operations, Disputes, Underwriting, and Engineering. Use AI to automate correspondence, triage cases, identify delinquency patterns, reduce manual work, and improve cash flow and operational efficiency.

Prepare SEC filings, financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosures, workpapers, and XBRL tagging. Support SOX compliance, external audits, share-based compensation entries, reconciliations, technical accounting research, and disclosure benchmarking. Collaborate with Legal, Investor Relations, Finance, Accounting, and auditors while improving financial reporting processes and using AI to enhance reporting workflows.
