Cloudflare is looking for a backend engineer to help us build and maintain the codebase that powers both our customer APIs as well as internal service APIs. This is a role for engineers that are familiar with web backend architecture, database design, and interaction. The role requires proficiency in RESTful API design, knowledge of SQL and common relational database systems, and experience with backend web frameworks. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience building large-scale software applications. Strong debugging and optimization skills, unit/integration testing experience, and familiarity with containers are also desirable.
