Key Responsibilities
Trust & Relationship Building (60%): Spend the majority of your time deploying and measuring high-impact campaigns that build deep trust with our pet parents and professionals.
Cross-Functional Lifecycle Strategy (30%): Collaborate across the team to ensure the journey from signup through repeat booking is cohesive, on-brand, and trackable to Gross Bookings Value (GBV).

Qualifications
3-5+ years in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing — ideally at a marketplace, subscription, or consumer app where repeat behavior (not just acquisition) was the core KPI.
Proven track record improving a specific retention metric — repeat purchase/booking rate, churn reduction, LTV expansion, etc. Ask for a concrete example/number in the application, since your success metrics are so number-driven.
Hands-on platform ownership — not just "used a CRM" but built and owned the segmentation logic, journey architecture, and send calendar independently.
Comfort operating with ambiguity in an early-stage/startup environment — Yourgi is 5 markets in, still building infrastructure, experienc advocating for investments is a must
Two-sided marketplace experience (nice-to-have, not required) — understanding that you're building trust with both pet parents and Yourgi Pros is a meaningfully different skill than single-sided consumer lifecycle work.
Skills
Lifecycle marketing platform expertise (Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, or similar) — hands-on experience building segmented, triggered, multi-channel journeys (email/SMS/push), not just campaign sends.
Retention and cohort analytics — comfort defining and tracking metrics like second-booking rate, ABPU, and cohort-based LTV; ability to build/read dashboards without heavy reliance on a data team.
Behavioral segmentation & personalization — experience using customer data (booking history, engagement signals) to trigger relevant, timely comms rather than blanket promotions.
Referral and loyalty program design — knowledge of what actually drives referral behavior (timing, incentive structure, and referral conversion paths, directly tied to your 180-day goal.
Success Metrics
First 30 Days: Deploy a measurable, multi-channel experience specifically designed to drive customers toward their second booking.
45-Day Goal: Establish monthly reporting on user sessions and "last touch" bookings value.
60-Day Goal: Achieve an 80% second-booking rate for new customers within their first 30 days.
120-Day Goal: 50% of new customers reach an Average Booking Per User (ABPU) of $200 (90-day cohort).
