The Role
- Analyze complex spreadsheets, benchmark data, research findings, and other structured or unstructured data sources to identify insights that support client deliverables.
- Extract relevant data points and translate them into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives for technical and marketing audiences.
- Collaborate with strategists, analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to turn data-driven insights into persuasive written and visual assets.
- Create content for a wide variety of deliverables, including (but not limited to), technical white papers, marketing and sales assets, solution briefs, video scripts, infographics, social media content, and presentations.
- Acquire expertise in high-tech subjects and supporting data and transfer that expertise to written and graphical deliverables.
- Work as a member of a cross-functional, multi-purpose team where success depends on every member.
- Deliver drafts on time according to a schedule you help to define.
- Work effectively in a constantly changing environment, prioritize multiple tasks, work under minimal/remote supervision and provide frequent status updates while juggling multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex spreadsheets, reports, research data, or benchmark results and identify the most relevant findings for a target audience
- Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to distinguish meaningful data points from background noise and connect findings to a broader business or technical story
- Experience using data to strengthen marketing, sales, technical, or thought leadership content
- Experience working with technology domains a strong plus. Examples would include personal computing, datacenter infrastructure, cloud service providers or software ecosystems
- Proven ability to quickly grasp new technologies, understand supporting data, and identify the insights that matter most to a target audience.
- Experience with B2B messaging and positioning
- Excellent math skills are required
- Advanced spreadsheet skills required
- Ability to create charts and visualizations in spreadsheets or other software required
- Comfort working with ambiguity, incomplete source materials, and evolving client direction while maintaining accuracy and clarity
- Agency experience a plus
- The pay range for this position is approximately $45 – 75 per hour, as a 1099 contractor, defined on a per-project basis.
