Workday Student Principal Consultant - FInancial Aid and Student Financials

We are currently seeking thought leaders in the Workday Student Financial Aid and/or Student Financials space to deliver superior results to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Execute the day-to-day activities of a Workday Student Financial Aid or Student Financials principal consultant
Serve as a functional expert in Student Financial Aid and/or Student Financials with deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas and in consideration of future product direction
Conduct sessions with customers to analyze business requirements, provide solutions to complex business problems, and transfer knowledge
Develop solutions to align with customer requirements and provide appropriate artifacts and deliverables
Actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice
Support Workday Delivery Assurance reviews to achieve design and build sign-off
Identify strategies, risks, and options to determine ideal approaches that lead to meeting requirements for customers
Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices
Support business development activities such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities
Skills & Requirements:
Current Workday certification in Student Financial Aid and/or Student Financials preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience gathering requirements, configuration design, prototyping, testing and deploying solutions to meet customer requirements in the Financial Aid and/or Student Financials functional area
Recent experience deploying Workday Student Financial aid and/or Student Financials is strongly preferred
Subject Matter Expertise in Financial Aid and/or Student Financials
Passion for exceptional customer service
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations and relationships
Report writing experience highly desired
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Minimal travel required, but must be willing to travel on-site if needed
Salary and Other Compensation
Applications will be accepted until 08/10/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $106,171 - $159,257 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
