Role & Responsibilities
Location: United States (Remote)

VideoAmp is seeking a highly-skilled Workday HRIS Analyst (Contract) to support our People Operations team with various Workday projects and HR systems maintenance. The Workday HRIS Analyst will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing our Workday environment to ensure efficient operations across various business functions, including HCM, Core and Advanced Compensation, Security, and Payroll. The ideal candidate is an individual highly proficient in report writing and dashboard creation, proactive, and can identify issues & then utilize their knowledge and available resources to identify solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Compensation, Talent, Security, and Peakon) to meet business requirements.
  • Work with cross-functional teams on system issues to identify, problem-solve, test, and configure changes within the system. 
  • Maintain internal and external system access, security roles, and permissions ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and generate both standard and custom advanced reports for various functions within the organization.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and third party vendors to develop, implement, and fix integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems. 
  • Maintain data integrity by running audits and addressing discrepancies. 
  • Build and improve Business Processes by working closely with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps, recommend solutions, and improve user experience.
  • Implement system enhancements and new features including module implementations. 
  • Participate in testing and validation activities for upcoming Workday updates and releases.
  • Provide day-to-day support for Workday users across various functional areas including guiding them through system processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Workday (1-3 years preferred), specifically within HCM, payroll, benefits, or compensation modules.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to create custom reports.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Additional Preferred Experience
  • Workday Certification(s) in HCM and Reporting.
  • Experience with Workday integrations (e.g., with payroll, benefits providers, or other enterprise systems).
  • Project management skills or experience leading small projects.

This position has a salary range of $40.00 - $50.00 per hour. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
