We are looking for a Workday HCM Administrator to help us take our Workday system to the next level. You will be responsible as a primary administrator for Workday HCM modules and understanding how they work together. You’ll work with IT, Software Engineering, HR, Finance & Accounting, RevOps team, and business partners to support Workday amongst the systems that are critical to Connor Group. You’ll do periodic reviews of the systems to ensure we’re using best practices as well as identify opportunities to better utilize the systems.
Responsibilities:
- Working with internal business partners and external vendors to design, build, and deliver solutions that bring value to our corporate team and professionals.
- Configure and maintain business processes, workflows, security roles, and domains
- Manage Workday biannual releases, including regression testing and deployment
- Manage and monitor integrations with payroll, benefits, L&D, HR, and finance.
- Support EIBs, Core Connectors, and vendor integrations
- Build and maintain standard and ad hoc Workday reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy
- Provide Tier 2/3 Workday support for HR and business users
- Develop documentation, job aids, and training materials
- Partner with Operations to support system adoption and change management
- Plan and prioritize work across multiple projects, and communicate priority to relevant stakeholders
- Communicate with leadership regarding status, risks, and recommendations for current projects
- Translate business and customer needs into clear product requirements, work tasks, and acceptance criteria.
Skills / Experience:
- 7+ years of direct Workday administration, implementation, upgrade, and support experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to focus on details and technicalities while simultaneously retaining a comprehensive vision of the big picture
- Act as the technical subject matter expert for all things related to internal and business systems
- Demonstrated ability to be resourceful and innovative
