Job Title: Workday Functional Support Consultant – HCM
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: Full-Time for Program Duration (2+ Years)

We are seeking experienced Workday Functional Support Consultants to support a large-scale Workday HCM implementation. The Functional Support team will partner closely with the University (UA) functional teams and the implementation partner to deliver end-to-end support across the entire implementation lifecycle and ensure a smooth transition to production operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide functional support across all phases of the Workday implementation including:
Planning, design, and configuration
Test strategy, test preparation, execution, and UAT support
Functional and technical documentation
Decision papers and executive-ready presentations
Integration design and validation
Report design and validation
Data conversion design and validation
Tenant build planning and environment validation
User support model and process definition
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the implementation partner
Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs
Ensure alignment with Workday best practices and institutional requirements
Support post–go-live stabilization and transition to steady-state operations
Strong hands-on experience in one or more Workday HCM modules listed above
Prior experience supporting at least one full-cycle Workday HCM implementation
Ability to perform functional design, configuration, testing, and validation
Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Experience working in large, complex, multi-year transformation programs
Workday Certification is a plus
