Job Duties and Responsibilities
Wireless Engineering & Operations Manager sought by DISH Wireless in Littleton, CO.
Oversee engineering, operations, and compliance for key regulatory services provided on DISH's mobile network. Oversee a team of engineers who design, deploy, and manage emergency solutions on DISH's mobile network including - but not limited to - E911, Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA), Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), robocalling mitigation, and STIR/SHAKEN (ST/SH). Manage a team of engineers responsible for executing the strategic plan and compliance of the regulatory programs listed above or other programs as assigned. Manage relationships with vendors and government agencies. Oversee the creation of testing standards, MOPs, and process improvement initiatives. Communicate and operationalize regulatory agency requirements in a way that maintains compliance and protects the DISH network. Develop team members through coaching and mentoring. Develop and maintain SME, collaborative relationships across key organizations. Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and implement data/visualization projects that accurately communicate and track performance and compliance .
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requires: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Math, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or closely related field plus 6 years of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or as National RAN Engineering Manager OR Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Math, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or closely related field plus 4 years of experience in job offered or as National RAN Engineering Manager. Also requires 4 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):
