Location/Division Specific Information

The role remotely based in the western United States and is associated with the Clinical Diagnostics Division of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

How will you make an impact?

This role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier and safer by leading a team of inside sales representatives who call on the hospital, reference laboratory, and criminal justice markets. In this role, you will lead your team members with a focus on driving growth of toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, and quality control technologies.

What will you do?

· Lead a team of sales professionals and support them in exceeding their revenue goals in the hospital clinical laboratory and reference laboratory markets

· Develop and implement go-to-market strategies that align to those of our business unit partners

· Develop strategic plans for key customers, market segments, and the western region to ensure long term growth and profitability of the business

· Negotiate multiyear contracts with key customers for toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, and quality control technologies

· Develop and implement processes and best practices across the team including CRM, training, forecasting, planning, compensation, and sales process

· Track and report on key performance indicators of success for the sales organization

· Partner with functions across the enterprise including the business unit, finance, operations, quality, and regulatory to support growth with customers

· Work closely with channel partners to support customers and accelerate growth of the business

How will you get here?

Education

· Requires a bachelor’s degree in any life science

Experience

· Requires 5 years’ experience in sales and preferably 2+ years in sales management

· Team management, sales strategies and personal selling effectiveness, analytical and problem solving skills, communications skills, client relationship management skills, industry/market analysis skills, and business planning skills.

· Knowledge of clinical diagnostics, including hospital clinical labs and reference lab markets

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $104,600.00–$156,875.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
