About the Role
VCloud Digital Marketing is seeking an experienced and motivated Website & SEO Sales Representative to help grow our client base throughout the US market. This role focuses on selling website solutions, SEO services, AI-powered marketing strategies, local search optimization, and lead generation services to small and mid-sized businesses.
The ideal candidate understands digital marketing, websites, SEO, and emerging AI tools that improve online visibility, customer engagement, and business growth. This is a sales-focused role centered on lead generation, client outreach, website evaluations, and presenting solutions that help businesses generate more leads and revenue.
Candidates should also have a strong understanding of website structure, SEO strategy, and digital marketing processes so they can effectively communicate with internal development and marketing teams.
Internal technical and marketing teams handle implementation and fulfillment.
Sales & Business Development- Prospect and develop relationships with small and medium-sized businesses.
- Identify companies that may benefit from website improvements, SEO, AI-enhanced marketing strategies, and lead generation services.
- Conduct outbound outreach through email, LinkedIn, calls, networking, and referrals.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting and discovery calls through proposals and closing.
- Qualify leads, schedule meetings, and maintain follow-up communication.
- Track sales activity and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
- Review prospective client websites and identify opportunities for website refreshes, SEO improvements, or new website development.
- Conduct basic SEO and online visibility evaluations.
- Explain how SEO, website optimization, local search strategies, and AI-powered marketing tools can improve traffic, leads, and conversions.
- Present website findings and marketing recommendations in simple business terms.
- Work closely with internal development and marketing teams to communicate client goals, website requirements, and project needs.
- Develop outreach messaging, sales materials, proposals, and marketing presentations.
- Support lead generation and brand visibility campaigns.
- Stay informed on SEO, AI marketing trends, website technologies, and small business digital marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging, services, and sales strategies.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales, digital marketing, SEO, business development, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of websites, SEO, local SEO, online visibility, and AI-driven marketing concepts.
- Ability to review websites and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Comfortable explaining websites, SEO, and marketing strategies to business owners.
- Understanding of website structure, backend functionality, and digital marketing workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical, development, and marketing teams.
- Experience with outbound prospecting, lead generation, and client outreach.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, LinkedIn, email marketing platforms, and business productivity tools.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience selling digital marketing or website services.
- Small business or B2B sales experience.
- Familiarity with SEO platforms such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, BrightLocal, or similar tools.
- Understanding of AI tools used for SEO, content optimization, marketing automation, or customer engagement.
- Experience preparing website evaluations, SEO audits, or client presentations.
