Job Summary:
The Web Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic management, optimization, and day-to-day operations of a portfolio of 10+ corporate, healthcare professional (HCP), and consumer-facing digital properties. This role combines web product management, digital marketing, user experience, and content governance to deliver high-performing websites that support both B2B and B2C business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven web marketer with strong product management instincts who can translate business requirements into scalable digital experiences. This individual will partner cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Commercial IT, Digital Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing Automation, Customer Service, Paid Media, Compliance, and external agencies to continuously improve website performance, customer experience, and digital growth.

Location: Hybrid from Nashville, TN; remote from all other locations
Responsibilities/Essential Duties:
Web Product Management:
- Drive continuous improvements to CMS architecture, website performance, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and overall digital experience.
- Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to define and prioritize website enhancements and new functionality.
- Collaborate with Digital SMEs to ensure seamless integrations with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and other enterprise marketing technologies
- Evaluate emerging web technologies and recommend solutions that improve scalability, security, performance, and customer experience.
Web Content Governance:
- Lead website information architecture and content strategy in partnership with Marketing stakeholders.
- Establish governance processes that ensure consistent navigation, messaging, visual identity, and content quality across all web properties.
- Develop and maintain web publishing standards, CMS workflows, content lifecycle management, and editorial governance.
- Ensure all website content remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Website Optimization (UX, CRO, SEO, AEO & GEO):
- Monitor website performance and user behavior using analytics platforms to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Lead UX research, usability testing, A/B testing, and conversion rate optimization initiatives to improve customer engagement and business outcomes.
- Develop and execute SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to improve organic visibility and discoverability across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
- Partner with Analytics and Paid Media teams to measure website performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize user journeys.
- Establish KPIs and regularly report website health, traffic, engagement, conversion performance, and optimization results.
Website Operations & Delivery
- Manage day-to-day website operations, including content publishing, landing page development, functionality enhancements, bug resolution, compliance updates, CMS administration, and release planning.
- Coordinate end-to-end web initiatives from intake through launch by partnering with Brand Marketing, Digital Product, Engineering, Customer Service, Marketing Automation, Paid Media, Analytics, Compliance, and MLR teams.
- Partner with the Digital Delivery leader to define project scope, timelines, priorities, milestones, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with web development resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Maintain website documentation, governance processes, release notes, and best practices to support scalable operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing enterprise websites, digital marketing programs, or web product initiatives.
- Familiar with resource planning with 3+ years of experience leading web dev and web design teams or external agency to execute on web products.
- Experience managing CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Sitecore, WordPress, or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
- Working knowledge of website technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SEO best practices, and web accessibility standards.
- Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or similar.
- Experience managing cross-functional digital projects involving marketing, IT, creative, and customer service teams.
- Fluent with project management system such as Jira, Monday.com, Asana etc. to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, MIS or equivalent relevant experience.
- Understanding of lead routing from a multi-channel marketing approach.
- Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple projects at the same time while navigating changing priorities.
- Resourceful in solving problems with limited resources.
- Proactive problem solver with a positive attitude, even under pressure and with conflicting priorities.
