Summary:
Receive inbound material from outside suppliers and other FET locations. Stock received material and completed products/assemblies from in-house production. Pick materials, components, and end products and deliver them to shipping. Perform regular (weekly) inventory cycle counts. Prepare component kits for shipping or delivery, fill orders and supplier subcontract parts. Complete daily packing, shipping, and receiving tasks, along with completing and properly filing all associated paperwork for easy access if required. Responsible for resolving issues related to SNI (shipped not invoiced), work under direct supervision, with decisions reviewed/made with senior personnel. Workdays may require early start or leaving late. Weekends/On-Call availability occasionally required.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform work in a professional and safe manner, report unsafe work practices
- Report to and receive assignments, instructions, and direction form the department supervisor / manager.
- Inspection and documentation of customer owned tools.
- Quality process control follow through and daily KPI metric completion.
- Receive, checks in, and issue materials in support of plant construction and maintenance activities.
- Maintain inventories, complete records, and perform various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
- Observe and follow all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
- Job requires the ability to be on-call during scheduled rotation
- Perform other duties and activities as directed.
Skills/Knowledge
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Possess basic written communication skills.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic math.
- Basic PC skills.
- The work environment is very fast-paced and noisy. It is one of constant movements while performing the duties of this job.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
1+ year of related experience

Pay Range: $17.00-$22.00/hr
