1. Responsibilities
  • Develops and implements strategic account plans for one or more named strategic accounts. 
  • Manages one or more Regional Business Development Managers who support the named Global Accounts. 
  • Negotiates with stakeholders to identify and map business strengths and customer needs
  • Researches business opportunities and viable income streams based on industry trends locally and internationally
  • Reviews contracts to ensure they align with corporate goals, and policies
  • Reports on successes and areas needing improvements
  • Works with clients to create solutions for their needs and consults throughout the sales process
  • Identifies, qualifies, and secures business opportunities Coordinates business generation activities
  • Achieves assigned quota targets on a quarterly and annual basis. 
  • Develops customized targeted sales strategies
  • Creates informative presentations
  • Presents and delivers information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
  • Closes sales and works with clients through the closing process
  • Collaborates with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
  • Maintains short- and long-term business development plans
  • Other duties as assigned
2. Experience

15+ years working in Business Development or other Sales capacity or a combination of education and experience

3. Skills
  • Experience with lead generation and prospect management Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor Demonstrated and proven sales results
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Conflict resolution
  • Ability to self-motivate and to motivate a team Experience working to and exceeding targets
4. Education, Certifications, Licenses
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Economics, Finance, Health Sciences or other related field- Required
  • Master’s degree in Business Development, Economics, Finance, Health Sciences or other related field- Preferred
