JOB SUMMARY:

The VP, Security Solutions leads the Security Solutions team and partners closely with business units, account teams, consulting teams, and technology partners to execute the company’s Security strategy. This role spearheads the development and advancement of Security offerings, oversees the structure and deployment of presales consulting resources, and supports client-facing activities such as assessments, requirements gathering, proof-of-concept efforts, technical workshops, and successful handoffs to engagement delivery teams. The VP, Security Solutions analyzes client processes, understands each client’s business landscape, defines requirements, and delivers innovative security solutions and strategies. This role is accountable for attaining the Security practice’s financial goals and driving year-over-year revenue and gross profit growth through disciplined planning, forecasting, pipeline development, and execution. The position also maintains an ongoing focus on AI initiatives, AI-enabled services, and emerging technologies as they relate to selling and delivering differentiated security solutions.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify, develop, and evolve a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that drives growth across security products, services, and solutions.
  • Establish strategic and financial team goals, develop execution plans, and ensure progress against agreed-upon objectives.
  • Own and drive achievement of Security practice revenue and gross profit targets, including year-over-year growth objectives, through effective business planning, sales execution, pipeline management, and practice performance oversight.
  • Develop and advance AI-related security initiatives, services, and solution plays that strengthen client outcomes, expand market relevance, and support the sale of modern security solutions.
  • Oversee presales efforts from conception to completion, with an emphasis on technical soundness and resource efficiency.
  • Lead the transformation toward selling more strategic, complex, multi-year engagements.
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction throughout the full engagement lifecycle by delivering the Trace3 “Total Customer Experience.”
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with technical leaders within client
  • Lead, coach, and mentor team members while supporting their professional growth and development.
  • Partner with account teams and consulting teams to deliver and present industry-leading programs and services to clients.
  • Lead security partner management and directs the activities and performance of the business unit’s practice directors and leaders.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key technology partners.
  • Advise, consult, and make recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team regarding strategy and long-range planning.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 10 years of services-led IT and cybersecurity complex solution sales experience, including hardware, software, and services offerings.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required
  • Experience working for a technology or consulting company, including prior experience developing strategic business plans.
  • Management experience in a team-oriented environment, with strong interpersonal, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise business environments and the operational challenges facing IT organizations.
  • Strong understanding of how clients use technology to meet business objectives
  • Knowledge of AI trends, AI-enabled security services, and emerging use cases that can be translated into client-facing security strategies and sales opportunities.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with an understanding of multifaceted business operations.
  • Proven expertise in developing and delivering accurate, timely weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage practice-level financial performance, including revenue growth, gross profit contribution, forecasting accuracy, and annual operating plans.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent time management skills and able to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume, and evolving work environment
  • Ability to respond to client and sales team requests in a proactive, consultative manner by listening effectively, understanding needs, and delivering appropriate solutions.
  • Comfortable managing multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to C-level executives and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel as required.
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
