  • Collaborate with data science and data engineering teams on infrastructure development to progress the analytics platforms and risk models

Process Improvements & Automation

  • Drive improvements in underwriting operations with vendor implementations and better data sources
  • Partner with Product to deliver automation initiatives, ensuring underwriting policy can evolve with speed and scale
  • Collaborate with Collections to analyze default trends and integrate learnings into risk strategy

You’re a Strong Fit if You Have:

  • 8+ years in credit risk, preferably in small business lending, alternative finance or revenue-based financing
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or relevant major
  • Have meaningful experience overseeing large balance sheets through macro shifts and can articulate strategies to navigate
  • Deep quantitative acumen; masterful with IRR analysis, unit economics, cohort performance and predictive modeling

What You’ve Done Before:

  • Experience managing BI analytics teams and collaborating with Data Science teams
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Business Intelligence Tools, and Excel
  • Proven track record of creativity, building new risk strategies in a highly competitive atmosphere

Who You Are:

  • Strong relationship-builder with the ability to engage across departments and levels - someone who communicates clearly and effectively, with emotional intelligence and tact.
