The VP, Revenue Operations is the center point of our go-to-market teams.
This role will lead the entire Operations Team and be responsible for the corresponding
Tech Stack (Salesforce, i360, Sales Navigator, Outreach, 6Sense, CPQ, Pardot Gong,
etc.).
The role will report to the CRO, and work as a strategic business partner to the
New Sales, Account Management, Marketing, SDR, and Sales Enablement teams to
ensure our processes, systems, and people are aligned, efficient, and optimized to
achieve our sales growth goals
Responsibilities
- Work with the executive leadership team to create and manage processes within the sales and customer lifecycle, forecasting and budgeting to hit company revenue goals, KPIs, tracking and dashboards.
- Partner and collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize our existing processes & tools and replace/integrate new ones when appropriate.
- Establish and lead the deal desk function with support from finance, legal and product.
- Be a cross functional leader through interactions with CRO, CMO and CX leaders and their teams.
- Present data and insights to senior leadership that allows the business to make the best decisions.
- Define & continually improve reporting strategies and processes and develop the associated reports and dashboards. This includes Board Reporting, Monthly Operations Meetings and Private Equity Investor Reporting.
- Own all systems and tools related to our sales, and marketing processes with SFDC as our central hub. You will be responsible for the evaluation, improvement, and management of all tools and software.
- Lead sales planning, execution, forecasting, reporting, pipeline management, compensation, and strategic analysis. Lead the Salesforce Administration team that supports our Salesforce instance and associated platforms to support marketing, sales, services, partners & finance.
- Providing a quantifiable strategic impact on the business – through insights that can be actioned to accelerate revenue growth in New and Existing business.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or similar field of study, or commensurate professional experience.
- 10 or more years of experience in Sales /Revenue Operations.
- Strong Technical skills with the typical Revenue Operations Tech Stack.
- Data Driven with familiarity with all leading Revenue Operations KPI’s utilized in the Private Equity/Public Market SaaS Software Environment.
- Project Management experience completing projects with teams to optimize the system infrastructure utilized within Revenue Operations.
- Management experience leading an operations and systems team.
Firstup expects the base salary for this role to be between $180,000-$240,000. The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
