Job Summary
The Vice President Revenue Operations is responsible for implementation and management of programs, technologies and resources deemed critical to the successful operation of the commercial activities of the company (Sales, Client Success, Account Management, and other departments).
The Vice President of Revenue Operations works closely with the Sales and Account Management leadership and their respective organizations to ensure accurate reporting, data analysis and execution of best practices. This individual will manage a group of 5 – 7 team members and will actively engage with the senior leadership team of the business.

In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:
Essential Functions
- Partner with Senior Management to lead the formation and documentation of sales policies, procedures and processes that ensure optimal sales productivity and sales efficiency
- Manage the tracking and reporting of sales activities (Salesforce.com), productivity metrics and sales statistics against documented sales policies, procedures, plan and sales forecast
- Provide oversight of executive sales dashboards and reporting with a focus on accuracy and the company’s strategic goals in order to drive best practices
- Lead ongoing win/loss and sales pipeline analysis
- Assist with new product sales analysis and targeted campaigns for existing and new clients
- Meet at least monthly with Senior Sales Management to ensure sales needs and expectations are being met
- Survey and evaluate trends in the competitive landscape and work with Product Management to keep competitive information up to date
- Assist in evaluating emerging market opportunities
- Identify and implement opportunities for sales process improvements
- Partner cross-departmentally on maintenance of a sales training program
- Lead special projects including market research, marketing plan assistance, sales plan assistance, competitive analysis, and SWOT analysis
- Assist with administration of the company Sales Commissions Plan
- Serve as primary point of contact to all departments in the company who have a need to interface with sales, including product management, finance, customer services, product development
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned based on business need
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Finance
- 7 years’ experience leading operational teams and functions
- 5+ years administering Salesforce.com or related CRM’s
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to lead and prioritize a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
- Demonstrated ability to influence and work in a cross-functional team environment
- Demonstrated success in the development and management of a annual, quarterly and monthly budget
