Role Summary/Purpose:

The Regional Sales Manager for the Verizon portfolio will lead a team of Field Sales Managers responsible for selling their partners on the benefits of the credit program to accomplish/exceed credit goals within an assigned regional area of the country. He or she will also hire, mentor, coach, counsel, co-travel and train their assigned field sales personnel. Finally, this person will also be responsible for managing and growing one of the Big 6 relationships.

Occasionally you may be required to commute to our nearest office for in person engagement activities such as business or team meetings, training and culture events.

This role can be located anywhere in the Western half of the U.S.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Attract, develop, and lead a team of assigned field personnel

  • Develop and implement strategies / tactics / "Best Practices" with sales team to drive credit program utilization

  • Implement systems management to utilize assigned sales personnel's time to increase usage, maximize client time, and keep expenses under budget

  • Implement effective measurement and reward systems with assigned sales personnel

  • Work with various departments including marketing and operations to develop materials and systems to increase sales personnel productivity and client adoption and usage

  • Deliver Verizon’s credit program KPIs by collaboratively developing growth initiatives with assigned Verizon Market / Territory

  • Partner with Verizon Leadership to drive team accountability down through hierarchy by supporting brand, culture, and value

  • Capture and communicate voice of the Field to multiple internal and external stakeholders to aid in the development, implementation, and monitoring of new or improved initiatives or strategies

  • Travel with HQ leaders on store & DM visits to access gaps and brainstorm solutions

  • Develop methodologies to collect competitive intelligence and changes in market conditions and share findings internally and with client

  • Perform other duties and own key projects geared towards improving sales processes and customer engagement

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years relevant work experience in Sales Management or in lieu of completed degree, HS diploma/GED and 8+ years relevant experience in Sales Management
  • 3+ years of people management experience with direct reports in a Sales regional or multi-location capacity
  • 2+ years of experience using SalesForce and/or other sales analytical tools
  • 3+ years of territory sales/marketing experience
  • Strong Presentation skills to large audiences including C-Suite relationship management experience
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
  • Ability to travel 50% of time some overnight and weekend travel and includes a company car.

Grade/Level: 12

                                                      

The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
