The Opportunity
Lose It! is seeking a VP of Product to own the full product experience — from the people who build it to the customers who use it. In this role, you'll lead and grow a team of product managers and UX designers, setting the bar for how great product work gets done here. This will be our most senior Product role and will report directly to the Managing Director.
You'll define our roadmap, drive prioritization across competing demands, and hold final accountability for the quality of everything we ship. That means being equally at home in a strategic planning session with the executive team and a release review with engineering — and knowing when each moment calls for vision versus decisiveness.
This isn't a role for someone who manages from a distance. You'll be deep in partnership with Engineering and Marketing, removing blockers, aligning stakeholders, and making sure ideas actually make it to market. You'll champion the user inside the organization, bring data to every major decision, and build a product culture that raises the standard over time.
Work Arrangement: Remote
Travel Requirements: Minimal travel expected
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product managers and UX designers, including hiring and performance management
  • Own the process by which product and feature work is prioritized, scoped, and scheduled — balancing short-term delivery with long-term strategic goals
  • Define and drive the product roadmap, translating market opportunities, customer insights, and business objectives into a clear and executable vision
  • Serve as DRI for the quality and integrity of all apps and products — with final sign-off authority on features and releases
  • Champion the product and its users across the organization, acting as an internal evangelist and ensuring product considerations are represented at the leadership level
  • Build and maintain close partnerships with Engineering and Marketing to shepherd projects from concept through launch, removing blockers and aligning stakeholders throughout
  • Monitor product performance metrics and customer feedback post-launch, using data to inform iteration and future investment decisions
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on annual and quarterly planning, representing the product organization's capacity, priorities, and strategic needs
Job QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
  • 10+ years of product management experience in consumer-facing mobile products, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing other PMs
  • Demonstrated track record of taking new products from zero to market and driving adoption at scale
  • Proven ability to define and communicate product vision in a way that aligns cross-functional teams and influences senior stakeholders
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering and design — comfortable holding quality standards without micromanaging execution
  • Data-driven decision-maker with experience defining and tracking product KPIs, retention, engagement, and growth metrics
  • Excellent communicator — equally effective in a roadmap review, a difficult personnel conversation, or a company all-hands
Required Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
