THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is a people-first organization. Our goal of building the global platform for live experiences depends on strong, connected, and efficient operations that empower our teams to do their best work. As Vice President of Operations, you’ll partner closely with the executive leadership team to bring structure, clarity, and strategic focus to how we operate.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who loves turning vision into action, connecting people and processes, and ensuring that operations become a powerful enabler of creativity, innovation, and growth.

THE TEAM

You will lead Eventbrite’s first centrally organized Operations function, creating a unified team that connects people, processes, and priorities across the company. You will report to Eventbrite’s General Counsel and work directly with the rest of the executive team to establish company-wide operating discipline, alignment, and measurable outcomes. Eventbrite’s Director of Operations, who has been with the company for six years in finance and chief of staff roles, will report to you. Together, you’ll build the infrastructure, cadence, and rhythm that enable Eventbrite to plan, execute, and measure success with speed and clarity.

THE ROLE

As Vice President of Operations, you will serve as a strategic operator and executional leader — driving excellence across all operational areas and ensuring that Eventbrite’s systems, processes, and teams work in harmony to deliver on our mission. You’ll develop and execute a long-term operational strategy that supports Eventbrite’s growth, fosters efficiency, and enhances collaboration across the entire company. This is both a strategic and hands-on role that blends vision with execution, driving the pace, structure, and cross-functional alignment necessary for Eventbrite’s next stage of growth.

  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the executive team on organizational design and scalability, and embedding best practices from scaled, high-performing organizations.
Operational Management
  • Oversee and coordinate all core operational functions, ensuring smooth execution of daily operations while building scalable systems and repeatable frameworks
  • Own and lead the company’s annual, mid-year, and ongoing operating cadence, including planning cycles, Monthly Operating Reviews, and Executive Staff Meetings.  Ensuring alignment, transparency, and disciplined execution across all teams.
  • Standardize operational frameworks that promote alignment, accountability, efficient decision-making, and scalable growth.
  • Lead cross-functional programs that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and operational transparency company-wide
  • Champion operational excellence through best practices, process innovation, technology enablement, and intelligent automation. By partnering with cross-functional teams to scale AI adoption, reduce manual work and accelerate decision-making across the business.
