Vantor delivers mission-critical solutions at the intersection of geospatial intelligence, aerospace innovation, and advanced software systems. We are forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate what’s happening now and shape what’s coming next. We serve Commercial enterprises, U.S. Government agencies, and International Government partners with technology that drives operational advantage, speed, and precision in high-stakes environments.

We are seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Vice President of Marketing to build and lead a world-class marketing organization that accelerates growth across multiple business verticals and strengthens Vantor’s position as a trusted partner in the defense and geospatial ecosystem.

The Role

The Vice President of Marketing will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. This leader will own Vantor’s global marketing strategy and execution — aligning product positioning, demand generation, brand strategy, and go-to-market initiatives across Commercial, U.S. Government, and International Government markets.

This role requires deep expertise in product marketing, complex GTM strategy, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams supporting diverse customer segments in highly regulated environments.

What You’ll Do

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to company growth objectives across Commercial, USG, and international markets.

  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to define both internally and externally Vantor’s  corporate positioning, category leadership strategy, and long-term brand direction.

  • Translate corporate strategy into clear, differentiated market messaging tailored to each vertical.

Product Marketing & GTM Excellence

  • Lead product marketing strategy across Vantor’s portfolio, including positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.

  • Drive end-to-end go-to-market planning for new product launches and expansions.

  • Ensure tight alignment between Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product, and Capture teams.

  • Develop targeted GTM approaches for federal procurement environments, international channels, and commercial enterprise sales cycles.

Demand Generation & Growth

  • Oversee demand generation strategy across digital, events, ABM, partnerships, and channel marketing.

  • Establish metrics-driven marketing performance frameworks with clear attribution and ROI visibility.

  • Build scalable pipeline acceleration programs supporting both long and short sales cycles.

Brand & Market Presence

  • Elevate Vantor’s brand authority internally, as well as in geospatial, aerospace, defense, and software markets.

  • Lead thought leadership, PR, analyst relations, and industry engagement initiatives.

  • Ensure consistent messaging across all customer-facing, employee, and candidate touchpoints.

Team & Organizational Leadership

  • Build and manage a high-performing marketing organization supporting multiple business verticals.

  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning product marketing, demand generation, communications, and field marketing.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and measurable impact.

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience, with a strong track record of launching and scaling complex technology solutions.

  • 5+ years leading cross-functional teams supporting diverse business verticals (Commercial, U.S. Government, International Government).

  • Proven GTM leadership experience in geospatial, aerospace, or software within the defense and/or U.S. Government ecosystem.

  • Proven experience building a cohesive employment brand aligned to product growth and strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner directly with executive leadership and influence company strategy.

Capabilities

  • Deep understanding of the defense and USG buying landscape.

  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate effectively with C-suite leaders, customers, and partners.

  • Analytical and metrics-driven decision maker.

  • Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Experience scaling marketing teams in high-growth environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in dual-use commercial and government technology markets.

  • Familiarity with compliance, regulatory, and security considerations in defense-related sectors.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Why Join Vantor

  • Direct impact on company strategy as a member of the executive team.

  • Opportunity to shape a category-defining brand in mission-critical technology.

  • Work at the forefront of geospatial, aerospace, and defense innovation.
