Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support company growth from startup to growth phase.

    • Collaborate with product and sales teams to align marketing efforts with product GTM, roadmap, and sales efforts.

    • Facilitate communication and coordination between sales, marketing, and product teams

    • Engage in deep collaboration with Product Marketing to ensure product value proposition is properly communicated and alignment between product features, market needs, and marketing communications

  2. Demand Generation

    • Oversee all aspects of demand generation, including digital marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising

    • Manage and optimize marketing automation systems, paid search, and SEO initiatives

    • Analyze customer data to identify trends and build targeted, replicable marketing campaigns

  3. Marketing Process Automation

    • End-to-end management of all marketing funnels, including website and top-of-funnel activities

    • Implement and optimize best practices for marketing automation systems (including HubSpot and ZoomInfo) to drive effective sales enablement

  4. Analytics and Performance

    • Analyze sales pipeline, product roadmap, and marketing campaign performance to inform strategy

    • Use data-driven insights from market, internal systems and product usage to continuously improve marketing effectiveness and ROI

    • Create and present performance reports to leadership team

  5. Team Management

    • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team

    • Manage and mentor team members across various marketing disciplines

  6. Brand Management

    • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints

    • Oversee the creation and implementation of brand guidelines, including visual identity, tone, and messaging

    • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure all marketing materials, including imagery and design elements, align with the brand strategy

    • Lead initiatives to evolve and refine the brand as the company grows and enters new markets

    • Monitor brand perception and adjust strategies to maintain and enhance brand equity

    • Ensure brand consistency across all product marketing materials in collaboration with the Product Marketing team

  7. Conferences and Events

    • Develop and execute a strategic plan for company participation in industry conferences and events

    • Identify and prioritize key conferences and events that align with company goals and target audience

    • Oversee the planning and execution of company-hosted events, including webinars, user conferences, and executive roundtables

    • Collaborate with sales and product teams to maximize networking opportunities at events

    • Manage budgets for conference sponsorships, booth designs, and event marketing materials

    • Measure and report on ROI for conference and event participation

    • Coordinate speaker submissions for industry events to position company executives as thought leaders

    • Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all event touchpoints

  8. High Value Content, Collateral and Thought Leadership

  • Develop a comprehensive content strategy that supports marketing goals and aligns with the product roadmap

  • Oversee the creation of high-value content assets, including whitepapers and case studies

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts within the company to produce insightful and authoritative content

  • Implement a thought leadership program that positions the company and its executives as industry experts

  • Collaborate with product on the development of sales collateral, ensuring it effectively communicates product value propositions

  • Establish editorial guidelines and processes to maintain content quality and consistency

  • Develop a content distribution strategy to maximize reach and engagement across various channels

  • Implement metrics and analytics to measure content performance and ROI

  • Continuously refine the content strategy based on performance data and evolving market needs

  • Ensure all content and collateral adhere to brand guidelines and effectively support the sales process


Qualifications
  • Strong background in product-led growth and marketing within a product-heavy organization

  • Expertise in modern sales and marketing technologies

  • Specific expertise in HubSpot and ZoomInfo is desirable

  • Deep understanding of demand generation tactics, including digital marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising

  • Experience in data-driven marketing strategy and funnel optimization

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with Product Marketing teams to develop effective positioning and messaging

  • Experience in brand management and development, including visual identity and voice

  • Legal experience

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience

  • Bachelors (BS or BA), masters preferred

  • Optional: Experience marketing to legal or insurance personas

  • Optional: Experience marketing a product led growth SaaS product
