About Us: Carefeed is your all-day, everyday advantage in senior living and long-term care. Our platform helps communities replace paperwork, spreadsheets, and multiple point solutions with one easy-to-use platform, so every role has the information and resources they need, every day.

Built for senior care, Carefeed works seamlessly with EHRs and HRIS platforms to reduce manual work, improve communication, and give staff more time for residents. From admissions to daily care, we connect teams, families, and residents through role-specific tools that make work easier and care more personal.

Trusted by thousands of communities, Carefeed delivers measurable time savings, easy onboarding, and a platform that grows with your needs. We help senior care teams stay organized, lighten workloads, and focus on what matters most, caring for residents and supporting families.

About the Role:

We are looking for a VP of Marketing to build and own Carefeed’s marketing function, with brand strategy and lead generation as the core mandates. You’ll report to the Head of Growth and become the strategic owner of a marketing function already producing good work across product education, content, and events. Your job is to turn that into a demand generation engine with a measurable pipeline contribution, a brand voice, and a channel strategy aimed squarely at the post-acute ecosystem that drives this industry’s buying decisions. You’ll build the thought-leadership motion that earns trust with operators and owners before a sales conversation ever starts.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own Carefeed’s demand generation engine, with a direct, measured contribution to pipeline as the primary success metric of this role.
  • Build Carefeed’s marketing strategy, owning the plan from channel mix through lead volume, quality, and conversion into sales pipeline.
  • Lead and grow Carefeed’s marketing function, identifying where the team needs to add capability as the function scales.
  • Own activation and presence across the AHCA/NCAL/state association channels, including the conference and events calendar, as a lead generation channel, not just a brand presence.
  • Build an ROI-led content and thought leadership program that earns credibility with senior living operators and owners ahead of a sales conversation.
  • Partner directly with the Head of Growth and the commercial team to align marketing output with pipeline generation goals and BDR outreach.
  • Own brand positioning and messaging, and bring consistency to how Carefeed shows up across web, content, and events.
  • Build out marketing’s measurement discipline, connecting campaigns and content to leads, pipeline, and revenue outcomes, not just activity metrics.
  • Evaluate and stand up the marketing technology and process a scaling GTM motion requires.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership role owning marketing strategy end to end.
  • A track record of building and scaling a demand generation function, with specific, defensible lead generation and pipeline contribution results.
  • Experience building a marketing function from a limited or early-stage base, not just operating within a mature one.
  • B2B SaaS or healthcare technology background; senior living, long-term care, or adjacent healthcare services experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience building thought-leadership-led, not pitch-led, marketing programs, ideally in a relationship-driven or trade-association-anchored industry.
  • Strong people leadership instincts; you’ll build and grow a marketing team as the function scales.
  • Comfortable operating at a fast-growing, venture-backed startup where process is still being built, not just maintained.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
