Point C is seeking a strategic and innovative Vice President, AI and Automation Engineering to lead the integration of AI and automation technologies across our IT landscape. This leader will play a critical role in modernizing the software development lifecycle (SDLC), optimizing ETL/EDI processes, enhancing cybersecurity, and building custom solutions that drive operational excellence. The VP will also contribute to the enterprise-wide AI strategy, ensuring initiatives align with organizational priorities and regulatory standards.
ResponsibilitiesDrive the adoption of AI tools to enhance SDLC, including code generation, testing, and deployment
Lead efforts to analyze and integrate acquired or legacy codebases with limited knowledge transfer
Collaborate with the EDI team to develop Python-based automation for X12 transactions (837, 834, 835)
Partner with EDI and ETL teams to establish AI-driven testing frameworks that adapt to evolving requirements
Oversee implementation of automated code deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
Design and oversee development of AI-enabled CRM and member engagement systems, including wireframes and workflows
Ensure AI and automation initiatives comply with cybersecurity best practices and integrate with enterprise security tools
Provide thought leadership on AI applications across the organization and contribute to the long-term AI roadmap
3+ years implementing AI solutions such as Claude, Grok, ChatGPT, or Gemini for enterprise automation, code generation, or testing
7+ years of experience leading software development teams with deep knowledge of SDLC processes
Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and bot development
Demonstrated ability to integrate legacy or acquired codebases with limited documentation
Strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, including secure coding and encryption
Experience with EDI standards (X12) and ETL automation processes
5+ years in a senior leadership role driving IT transformation and aligning initiatives with business goals
Knowledge of healthcare IT and compliance requirements such as HIPAA and PHI/PII handling is preferred
Experience with automated deployment pipelines is preferred
Experience with custom CRM development is preferred
Experience with AI-driven testing frameworks is preferred
Ability to lead organizations through technology and process transformation is preferred
Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases. Additionally, certain roles have the opportunity to receive sales commissions that are based on the terms of the sales commission plan applicable to the role.
