The Field Marketing Manager for Volume Segments will be responsible for developing and executing integrated, volume-focused marketing strategies and campaigns across direct to end user, focus partner, and alliance channels for the US West region. This role emphasizes driving high-frequency promotions, digital initiatives, and events specifically tailored to the volume market segment, with the goal to reach, educate, nurture, and convert target audiences to generate quality marketing opportunities and revenue.

 

This position leads field marketing efforts for volume segments in the US West region and requires a seasoned professional experienced in both strategic planning and hands-on execution in a fast-paced field marketing context. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with multiple Sales Leaders, Sales Reps, Channel Reps, and Sales Development Reps (SDRs) to drive pipeline growth, manage business opportunities, and support onsite execution for national volume programs and engagements. The Field Marketing Manager reports to the US West Director, Field Marketing.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement volume-focused marketing strategies to increase sales and market share; support onsite execution for national programs and volume engagements.
  • Integrated Campaigns: Build and execute annual field marketing campaigns targeting volume segments, with emphasis on communication, demand generation, deal acceleration, and high-frequency volume promotions.
  • Multi-Channel Initiatives: Execute multi-channel marketing tactics—including digital campaigns, events, and promotions—designed specifically for the needs of the volume segment.
  • Customer Engagement: Create and manage programs to attract, engage, and retain volume customers, fostering loyalty and driving repeat business.
  • Sales Collaboration: Meet regularly with Sales and SDR teams to build quarterly plans, review progress, identify opportunities, and ensure robust lead follow-up and pipeline management.
  • Content & Events: Develop compelling marketing materials and organize promotional events to boost brand awareness and drive engagement within the volume segment.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Secure buy-in and alignment from regional sales, channel, corporate, and marketing teams, ensuring collaboration and communication on marketing plans and execution.
  • Performance & Budget Management: Track and analyze campaign effectiveness, optimize ROI, and allocate marketing resources efficiently to maximize business impact.
  • Data Analysis: Frequently analyze sales and marketing data to uncover trends and insights that inform business decisions and campaign optimization.
  • Reporting: Report on campaign ROI, success metrics, and overall business contribution.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay current on industry trends and competitor activity to continuously enhance marketing strategies and execution.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related discipline; 5+ years of relevant marketing experience.
  • Direct experience with channel marketing preferred; experience working with global alliances, corporate resellers, or partners knowledgeable of Veeam is a plus.
  • Proven field marketing experience with successful integrated campaign planning and execution, ideally within volume or high-transaction segments.
  • Innovative & Creative: Ability to develop creative strategies that capture market attention.
  • Proactive Attitude: Demonstrates initiative and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality.
  • Self-starter: Exceptional project management skills, including ability to set project timelines, manage dependencies, and assess risk.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

  • Passionate: Enthusiastic about continuous learning and growth.
  • This position is remote but must reside within the Pacific or Mountain Timezone
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
