** THIS IS A 5 MONTH CONTRACT **

Why you’ll love this job:

You believe in the power of brand.
We’re looking for a full-time, 5 month contract Video Lead, Video & Animation to join our Brand Marketing team in the US, reporting to our Creative Director. This role will play a huge part in our continued brand rollout and implementation.
You’re a hands-on storyteller.
In this role, you’ll be an active part of our collaborative Brand team. You’ll bring a distinct perspective on the power of visual storytelling through video and animation mediums—to help us establish our presence as a sophisticated industry leader.

You look for yes.

You’re flexible and self-initiated with strong collaboration and communication skills. On our fast-paced, creatively driven team, you’ll be comfortable with progress and change, with an optimistic problem-solving mentality to produce high-quality results.

What you’ll do:

  • Support Redis’ Brand video function during a temporary coverage period, helping keep priority video projects moving from intake through final delivery.

  • Manage day-to-day video project coordination across Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Events, Enablement, and other internal partners.

  • Scope incoming video requests, clarify goals and deliverables, build timelines, track milestones, and flag priorities or resourcing tradeoffs.

  • Oversee the end-to-end production process for a range of video projects, including brand videos, product marketing videos, paid/social cutdowns, internal videos, event content, demos, and customer-facing stories.

  • Partner closely with the Brand team to ensure video work feels polished, on-brand, and aligned with Redis’ creative direction.

  • Coordinate with external video, motion, and production partners, including sharing briefs, assets, feedback, timelines, and delivery specs.

  • Review scripts, storyboards, rough cuts, motion graphics, captions, and final exports for clarity, quality, brand consistency, and accuracy.

  • Support light post-production needs when helpful, including pulling selects, creating simple cutdowns, captioning, versioning, export prep, and organizing final deliverables.

  • Help adapt video assets across formats and channels

  • Support occasional in-person production needs in the SF Bay Area, including shoot prep, shot lists, vendor coordination, stakeholder communication, and on-site production support.

  • Keep project files, asset folders, feedback threads, and handoff notes organized so work is easy for the team to track while the internal video lead is out.

    What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in video production, creative production, branded content, post-production, or a similar role.

  • Experience managing video projects from brief through final delivery in a brand, agency, in-house creative, tech, SaaS, or marketing environment.

  • Strong understanding of video production and post-production workflows, including pre-production, production, editing, review cycles, versioning, captions, exports, and final delivery.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines, stakeholders, feedback rounds, and deliverables at once.

  • Good creative judgment across pacing, storytelling, visuals, music, motion, captions, and overall polish.

  • Ability to give clear, actionable feedback to editors, animators, vendors, and internal partners.

  • Comfort coordinating with external production, animation, motion, or freelance partners.

  • Hands-on familiarity with video tools and workflows, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io Figma, Google Drive, Slack, and project management tools like Asana.

  • Light editing or post-production ability; you do not need to be a full-time editor, but should be comfortable jumping in on simple cutdowns, selects, captions, versioning, and exports when needed.

  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through; this person should be able to keep projects moving with limited hand-holding.

  • Collaborative, flexible, low-ego working style and comfort operating in a fast-moving marketing environment.

  • Local to the SF Bay Area preferred, or able to be available locally for occasional in-person shoots.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with B2B tech, SaaS, developer tools, product marketing, or complex technical storytelling.

  • Familiarity with After Effects, Figma, motion/design handoff workflows, or AI-assisted video tools.
