The Video Editor / Motion Graphics Designer is a key member of Risepoint’s in-house creative team, responsible for concepting, editing, and producing impactful short-form video content that fuels paid and organic digital campaigns for our university partners. This role focuses on developing performance-driven ad and social content across platforms such as Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display, TikTok, and others.
Working closely with designers, copywriters, and strategists, the editor transforms creative concepts into engaging motion pieces that resonate with target audiences and align with campaign goals. Projects include creating motion graphics, repurposing existing assets, and producing ad variations tailored to platform specifications and audience insights.
The ideal candidate brings both creative vision and technical expertise — leveraging AI tools and platforms to streamline editing workflows, ideate creative concepts, generate multiple ad variations, and enhance production efficiency. Success in this role requires a solid understanding of digital advertising best practices and a passion for staying ahead of evolving trends, platforms, and visual standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Video Editing, Moption Design and Post-Production
- Concept, edit, and produce engaging short-form video and motion graphic content for paid and organic campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, Google, TikTok, and other platforms.
- Develop motion graphics, animations, and dynamic visual elements that enhance storytelling and drive campaign performance.
- Repurpose and optimize existing footage and assets for multiple formats, placements, and aspect ratios.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content for a variety of marketing initiatives, including but not limited to social media ads, website videos, training materials, and executive communications.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stake holders in creative, marketing, growth marketing and communications, to ensure brand consistency and storytelling alignment.
- Contribute to ideation and creative development sessions by presenting ideas for campaign visuals, pacing, and storytelling.
- Ensure all deliverables align with partner brand guidelines, creative strategy, and platform best practices.
- Creatively enhance final video product utilizing motion graphics, color correction, sound design, and visual effects as needed.
- Be able to take and act on constructive feedback from leaders, teammates as well as internal and external partners.
- Project Management
- Independently manage and organize video assets, project files, and media libraries based on departments best practices and standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong version control, ensuring efficient feedback cycles, timely delivery, and alignment with stakeholder expectations.
- Work with internal stakeholders to achieve the necessary timelines for deliverables. Raise any roadblocks to management for resolution.
- Maintain consistent, transparent communication with the Director of Video Production and relevant teams, providing status updates, surfacing risks, and ensuring alignment on creative direction and execution.
- Platform and Workflow Expertise
AI-driven workflows
- Leverage AI tools and platforms to streamline editing processes, generate ad variations, and enhance creative output.
- Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and recommend tools or techniques that improve efficiency and creative experimentation.
Digital Advertising & Platform Expertise
- Apply a solid understanding of digital advertising principles, including audience targeting, creative testing, and platform-specific requirements.
- Adapt creative content based on performance data and insights to improve engagement and campaign effectiveness.
- Maintain awareness of evolving digital platforms, creative trends, and motion design standards to ensure Risepoint’s content remains innovative and effective.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a video editor.
*Must be able to supply a portfolio of diversified work.
Preferably in a marketing or educational setting.
Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Proven ability to create high-quality video content for digital and social platforms, including paid campaigns.
Strong understanding of performance-driven creative development and how content supports marketing objectives.
Experience using AI-driven creative tools or platforms for ideation, content generation, and workflow automation.
Working knowledge of file formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and platform delivery specifications.
Experience with motion graphics and sound design.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment, while still being part of a team.
Background in marketing or communications.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally with designers, copywriters, strategists, and marketing teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Stgrong attention to detail from concept through delivery.
