Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead our end-to-end Supply Chain function, driving innovation and excellence across the organization. The Supply Chain team has been the cornerstone of our operational success across diverse product centers. As our company continues to expand and strengthen supplier relationships, we are seeking a transformational leader to elevate our capabilities to the next level.
In this role, you will oversee the effective management of active subcontracts, annual parts procurement, and operational sites, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals. You will play a pivotal role in defining the vision for the future of Supply Chain within a dynamic and fast-growing organization.
Your responsibilities will include strategizing and optimizing internal and external processes, managing the flow of materials and information across product centers, and advancing our digital supply chain footprint to support scalability and innovation.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support Sierra Space's business objectives and growth plans.
Oversee all supply chain functions, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, supplier development, and subcontract management.
Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of supply chain activities.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.
Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Implement and maintain robust logistics processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve supply chain performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including export control and quality requirements.
Monitors the cost, schedule, and performance factors of major subcontractors.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the aerospace industry.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies.
Proven experience in managing complex supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and subcontract management.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools including SAP, Teamcenter, and MRP.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required. Must be a United States citizen.

Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
