Overview
The Vice President Sales is responsible for growing ad spend, with full ownership of all sales originating within their market. This leader will oversee a high-performing sales team, drive a culture of accountability, and act as the face of the business to key local, mid-market and independent agencies, as well as broader community. The VP Sales will also act as an office lead, interacting with and representing employees who work from their office across OUTFRONT functions.
What You’ll Do
Sales team leadership:
Build, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team by delivering consistent feedback that fosters growth
Drive a team culture focused on solution selling, ensuring AEs are crafting tailored solutions that leverage OUTFRONT’s full product portfolio (including transit and digital) and deliver measurable business outcomes
Establish a performance-driven culture and drive accountability through a rigorous, data-driven operating rhythm that includes weekly pipeline reviews
Tailor coaching strategies to varying experience levels within the teams, ensuring both junior and senior AEs continue to evolve in sales acumen and client impact
Drive adoption of sales and marketing enablement tools and automated platforms
Sales strategy execution:
Lead from the front: join high-priority customer conversations, coach Account Executives in real time, and promote a “hunting” mindset across the team
Partner closely with Revenue Operations business partners to develop a go-to-market strategy for your region and hold your team accountable to strategic initiatives
Collaborate with central Real Estate function to proactively identify and provide input on high-impact inventory opportunities
Client & agency engagement:
Act as the senior point of contact for high-priority clients and agencies, representing OUTFRONT externally and advocating for regional opportunities
Strengthen client relationships across the sales funnel, from new business development to retention and upsell, leveraging storytelling, outcome-based value messaging
Local office leadership:
Represent the voice of the office internally, supporting cross-functional engagement and organizational communication
Act as the cultural ambassador of the office, celebrating wins and modelling an inclusive, connected work environment
In select markets, may take on additional leadership responsibilities (e.g., transit team oversight)
Required Qualifications
10+ years of B2B sales experience, with experience in OOH, digital and transit advertising and programmatic media
5+ years in a people leadership role, including direct management of quota-carrying sales teams
Proven track record of driving customer and revenue growth while leading high-performing, quota-carrying teams
Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate big-picture goals into clear, actionable sales plans
Demonstrated strength in developing talent and building team culture, with a track record of coaching high-performers and fostering inclusive, collaborative environments
Strong communication and presentation skills, with executive presence and comfort engaging with senior-level clients and internal stakeholders
Exceptional communicator and coach, with ability to develop talent
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, with cross-functional collaboration and influence
The salary range for this role is $200,000-$215,000 per year. This role is also eligible for incentive compensation. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position.
