What we’re looking for

SurveyMonkey is evolving its core product to deliver even greater value to users—making it more powerful, intelligent, and essential to how individuals and teams turn feedback into action. As VP of Product Management, Core Product, you will lead this transformation across our flagship experience: from survey creation and deployment to integrations, analysis, and insights.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be responsible for the full customer journey within our core product. You’ll bring a deep understanding of product craft, a strong design sensibility, and a track record of mentoring high-performing teams. You’ll lead initiatives that make our product more intuitive, insight-rich, and AI-enabled.

What you’ll be working on

  • End-to-end product strategy and execution for our core experiences, including survey creation and editing; distribution and deployment across channels; analysis, dashboards, and AI-generated insights; and integrations with adjacent tools and platforms. 
  • Foster a culture of product excellence—scaling frameworks, rituals, and coaching that level up product thinking and decision quality across the team.
  • Drive the application of AI/ML in ways that differentiate the product, accelerate value delivery, and uphold responsible innovation practices. 
  • Close partnership with UX, Engineering, and Data to build cohesive, elegant, and high-impact experiences. 
  • Alignment of product priorities with business goals and PLG outcomes. 

We’d love to hear from people with

  • 12+ years of Product Management experience including 5+ years leading and developing high-performing teams at the manager and director level within SaaS organizations. 
  • Experience owning complex, user-facing products with end-to-end accountability
  • Deep understanding of PLG mechanics with a proven track record of moving key metrics through product changes
  • Exceptional product craft and ability to mentor others in discovery, strategy, and execution
  • Experience scaling product teams and defining org structures that enable autonomy, alignment, and fast iteration
  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize continuous user insight generation and embed it into product decisions at scale
  • Strong design sensibility and a track record of building cohesive, user-first experiences
  • Proven success partnering cross-functionally to drive transformation and business impact
  • Experience applying AI/ML to product experiences in thoughtful and value-driven ways
  • Strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the whole and zoom in to sweat the details

The base pay provided for this position ranges from $292,000 / year - $343,000 / year depending on the geographic market and assuming a full-time schedule. Actual base pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education or training, skills, and experience.
Bonuses and commissions may also be offered as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; paid holidays; paid time off; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
