DailyPay is seeking a visionary, data-driven, and deeply empathetic VP of Product to lead our consumer-facing product strategy and execution. This is a highly strategic role for a leader who is passionate about rewriting the invisible rules of finance by creating a new, more equitable and inclusive financial system. You will be responsible for setting the product vision and strategy across our entire ecosystem of consumer products, ensuring every product delivers a seamless, intuitive, and empowering experience that allows workers to access their earned pay when they need it.
You will build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, championing a user-centric culture powered by deep quantitative and qualitative data. Set the Vision & Strategy: Define and own a compelling, multi-year product vision and strategy for all consumer-facing experiences, deeply rooted in user data and market opportunities
Lead and Scale a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of product managers. Foster a data-informed culture of excellence, rapid iteration, and continuous learning
Drive Product-Led Growth: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from data-driven discovery and user research to defining roadmaps and delivering scalable solutions. Ensure the team delivers elegant and effective products that create measurable value
Champion Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a key member of the product leadership team, collaborating closely with VPs of Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Operations to align on strategy, define roadmaps, and deliver impactful business outcomes
Be the Voice of the User: Build and scale a robust product discovery practice that blends quantitative and qualitative methods to deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our diverse user base. Translate these insights into actionable strategies that create a seamless and valuable user journey
Own Metrics & Outcomes: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs). Continuously optimize products based on performance and user feedback, ensuring every feature drives measurable business growth and user satisfaction
Influence and Evangelize: Act as a powerful storyteller and evangelist for our consumer product vision, using data to clearly articulate how a focus on delivering seamless, valuable products directly drives user engagement, business growth, and our core mission
What You Bring to The Team:
An Experienced Product Leader: You have 12+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role (Director, VP, or Head of Product) managing and scaling teams in a high-growth, product-led company, preferably in fintech or a related consumer industry
A Strategic, Systems-Thinker: You have a proven ability to develop and execute a long-term product strategy for a complex product ecosystem, focusing on creating a seamless and holistic user journey
Empathetic and Value-Focused: You have a deep, genuine empathy for users from all walks of life and a passion for understanding their core needs to create products that deliver real, tangible value and improve financial wellness. Experience designing for B2C fintech or for diverse and vulnerable populations is a significant plus
A Master of Your Craft: You possess a strong track record of launching and scaling successful consumer products that have driven significant business impact. You are fluent in product discovery, agile delivery, and user experience design principles
An Inspiring Team Builder: You have a track record of hiring, mentoring, and retaining top-tier product talent. You know how to create an inclusive environment where individuals can do their best work
A Data-Driven Decision Maker: You are fluent in blending qualitative and quantitative data to form a cohesive and deep understanding of the user. You use insights from analytics, A/B testing, and user research to guide product decisions, measure impact, and drive strategy
An Exceptional Communicator: You can articulate complex product concepts and strategic rationale to a variety of audiences, from your product team to the C-suite, using data and user stories to build conviction and alignment
Established Product Vision and Roadmap: You have defined and socialized a compelling product vision and a data-informed roadmap for the consumer ecosystem that is enthusiastically supported by design, engineering, and business counterparts
Influential Leadership with Cross-Functional Teams: You are seen as an indispensable strategic partner by Engineering and Design leaders, actively influencing the technical and design priorities to ensure product-centricity is at the forefront of all initiatives
Leveled-Up Product Team: You have assessed the team's capabilities, identified skill gaps, and made key hires in product management, fostering a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team
Successfully Launched High-Impact Products: You have overseen the launch or significant iteration of several high-impact product features or new offerings that have demonstrably improved user satisfaction, engagement, and retention, as measured by key metrics
Strengthened Cross-Functional Collaboration: You have built strong, collaborative relationships with leaders in engineering, design, and marketing, resulting in a more integrated and user-centric product development lifecycle
Deepened User Understanding: You have scaled the user research practice, delivering a steady stream of actionable insights that have directly influenced product strategy and created a deeper, shared understanding of our users across the entire organization
