Position Summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President, Global Solutions, CI & Strategy to lead the integration and advancement of three critical pillars within our Solutions Design, Program Management & Product Development, and Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement functions. This role is crucial in ensuring our two product segments “On Demand Warehousing” and
“Contract Logistics” delivers a competitive advantage through best-in-class solutions, seamless implementation, and scalable, repeatable, and standardized operational performance for our clients across the verticals we serve and expand into.
This position requires a hands-on, cross-functional leader who can shape our engineering capabilities, IT strategic requirements and proposition, accelerate product development, assess capabilities to develop and deliver in new markets and

verticals, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across our global logistics footprint.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solutions Design Leadership

● Lead a small but high-performing team in designing customized, cost-effective, and scalable logistics solutions for prospective and existing customers.
● Drive and support consultative and holistic end-to-end Supply Chain focused selling approach in conjunction with Business Development, to deliver exceptional customer value beyond RFP process
● Champion data-driven design using engineering, simulation, and modeling tools across capital investments and financial requirements to support growth and efficiency.
● Develop a road map on engineering, technology and automation requirements to support the growth and profitability of the solutions offered in each market and industry segment

● Maintain close collaboration with Operations and Implementation teams to ensure design feasibility and long-term operational success.

2. Program Management & Product Development

● Oversee the governance, planning, and delivery of complex implementation programs across regions, ensuring alignment with customer commitments, overseeing program budgets and ensuring cost-effectiveness in roll-out of operational needs.
● Drive the development and evolution of Contract Logistics products, capabilities, and service offerings.
● Standardize methodologies and create playbooks for onboarding, governance, risk management, and change control across programs.
● Foster innovation by integrating customer feedback and market insights into product development cycles.

3. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

● Build and lead a CI program grounded in Lean Six Sigma principles to identify and execute improvement initiatives across warehousing operations that delivers on overall service and cost improvement for customers.
● Develop frameworks for performance management, bench marking, and process standardization that can be replicable and roll-out across Iron Mountain’s operational network
● Drive a culture of excellence and accountability through leadership training, best practice sharing, and operational audits.
● Partner with site leadership to embed a continuous improvement mindset and measurable performance gains.

Strategy Development

● Act as a key thought partner to the SVP of Global Warehousing & Logistics, contributing to enterprise-wide strategic planning.
● Collaborate and lead the long-term strategy for Warehousing & Logistics across Solutions Design, Program Delivery, and Operational Excellence, ensuring alignment with Iron Mountain’s global growth objectives and vertical specific ambitions (e.g., CPG, retail, healthcare).
● Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and technological & automation innovations to inform strategic planning and product road map development.
● Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives aimed at scaling capabilities, entering new markets, or developing differentiated value propositions.
● Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, and Operations leadership to shape business cases, investment strategies, and capacity planning that support profitable growth.

● Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure strategic execution across design, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

● 15+ years of experience in Contract Logistics, with demonstrated leadership across strategy development, solution design, operations, finance + cost modelling, implementation, and continuous improvement.
● Proven success leading cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
● Strong experience in managing complex logistics programs, solution selling, and CI frameworks with End to End Supply Chain Experience, preferred
● Deep understanding of warehousing operations, technology, automation, and customer requirements in sectors like CPG, high-tech, retail, e-commerce, or FMCG.
● Executive presence with excellent communication skills and stakeholder management experience.
● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
● Six Sigma certification and/or formal CI training a strong asset.
