Job Title: Vice President, Data Engineer

Job Duties: A qualified candidate for The Global Cash business unit will work with instructional investors who utilize US and international money funds for their cash management needs. Automate and enhance the data and reporting solutions for the cash business clients, using various technologies such as Java, Python, SQL, Angular, Cassandra, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes. Support client order management trading application, using Java and J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs and ensure quality and performance of the solutions using testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium. Follow Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Git, and Jenkins for development, maintenance, support and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders using effective communication and problem-solving skills. Train, mentor, and assist new team members, conduct code reviews. Deliver high level of client service and product success by creating resilient and scalable solutions that meet the business and functional requirements.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and four (4) years of experience as a Technology Architect or a related role. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience as a Technology Architect or a related role. Must have four (4) years of experience with the following: Object-oriented design and programming using core Java and related technologies including Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Micro-services; Harness the power of OAuth1.0 or 2.0 with tools like Okta or ApiGee to revolutionize user authentication and authorization; Proficient in containerization and CI and CD pipelines, utilizing Openshift or AKS, XLR or ArgoCD, and Jenkins to streamline and innovate development processes; Building modern software using engineering tools including git, maven, unit testing tools, integration testing tools, and mocking frameworks, and; Maintaining agile SDLC processes including gathering requirements from product owners, testing software to ensure it meets requirements and performs productively, providing technical support to software users, and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Must have two (2) years of experience with Crafting reactive microservices with the elegance of Domain Driven Development design patterns, the power of GoLang, and the resilience of Kafka.
