We’re changing the way people connect to social care.

At Findhelp, we’ve built a comprehensive platform of products and services that make it easy for you to connect people to resources, follow them on their journey, and track your impact in a fast and reliable way. Our industry-leading social care network includes more than half a million local, state, and national programs that serve every ZIP Code in the country, from rural areas to major metropolitan centers.

Findhelp is headquartered in Austin, Texas and has been enabling healthcare, government, education, and other organizations to connect people with the social care resources that serve them, with privacy and security, since 2010.

As a mission driven organization, we are focused on creating a positive impact by connecting people in need to the programs that serve them with dignity and ease. Powered by our proprietary technology that enables people to find the resources available in their area, we have helped millions of Seekers find food, health, housing and employment programs.

Join our team and make meaningful change! Our small but mighty team supports design across all of Findhelp’s properties (Kiip, Uno, Findhelp). We work with everyone at the company to ensure that our products best reflect the needs of our end users as well as that of the business.

Who we’re hoping to meet

You are excited about honing your skills in UX design. You have a great portfolio of projects that you’ve done at school, maybe a little work experience and are looking to build out your book. You have things to teach us as much as we have things to teach you. You like complicated problems and want to think about how to solve them while balancing this with an understanding that craft is still important.

What You’ll Tackle

Join the design team: Work directly with our UX designers and researchers to support end-to-end features, from initial wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
Design system exposure: Help us build and document our Figma component library. You’ll learn how to create scalable, accessible UI elements.
User research & testing: Assist in gathering user insights, sitting in on usability tests, and synthesizing feedback into actionable design changes.
Audit & iterate: Conduct UI audits of our existing platform to identify inconsistencies and suggest "quick win" improvements.
Cross-functional collaboration: Participate in design critiques and sync with engineers to understand the technical constraints of your designs.
Launch things! See your work become live, support developers in getting it out the door and

Your Toolkit
Figma: You know your way around Auto Layout, Variants, and Prototyping like the back of your hand.
UX Foundations: You understand user-centered design principles and can explain the reasoning behind your design decisions.
Systems Thinking: You don’t just design a button; you think about how that button behaves across the entire app.
Growth Mindset: You’re eager to learn the messy side of product design (technical debt, edge cases, and business requirements).

Requirements
A portfolio that showcases process and product thinking. We want to see sketches, wireframes, and the "why" behind the final UI.

Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Design, HCI, or related program.
The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and the bravery to ask the obvious questions

What’s In It For You?

Ship features: See your work live and gain invaluable experience working with engineers to make your vision come to life
Real Portfolio Pieces: You’ll walk away with case studies involving real users and live data.
UX Mentorship: Regular 1:1s with experienced designers to help map out your career path.
Tooling: Access to the full stack of modern design and research tools.

We value being together
We believe being together enables stronger relationships, collaboration, and culture.
