Your work will range from creating wireframes and prototypes to conducting user research and usability testing, ensuring the design vision aligns with brand principles and enhances the player experience. You will also have opportunities to leverage your graphic design skills and work on multiple areas of the site, from player profiles and commerce features to game pages.

Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that are responsive, accessible, and visually compelling.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and inform product improvements.

  • Ensure design solutions align with brand guidelines and reflect the target audience’s needs.

  • Champion inclusivity, accessibility, and innovative approaches to UX design.

  • Participate in stand-ups, review sessions, and team syncs while managing heads-down design work (~85% of time).

  • Contribute to measurable outcomes, such as engagement metrics, conversion rates, and user satisfaction.

  • Continuously iterate designs based on feedback from playtests, analytics, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to team growth, collaboration, and a supportive design culture.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a design-related field with 4+ years of product/service design experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience.

  • 5–7 years of overall design experience, ideally including prior work in gaming or consumer-facing digital products.

  • Proficiency with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, ProtoPie, After Effects, Illustrator, or similar (3–5 years experience).

  • Strong expertise in web UX, responsive design, layout systems, and interaction patterns (2–3 years experience).

  • Demonstrated experience creating user-centered designs with strong visual and interaction fidelity.

  • Portfolio showcasing shipped work and self-initiated projects that highlight both analytical/technical thinking and visual design skills.

  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and player engagement strategies.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the gaming industry or on high-traffic gaming websites.

  • Experience designing dynamic interfaces for web and mobile-first experiences.
