Torch Technologies is seeking Cross-functional Working Group Planner to serve as a mid-level planner to support USSPACECOM program planning and synchronized schedule execution across PMO/TSO activities. This role focuses on maintaining and supporting schedule development, and supporting cross-functional working groups—including direct support to TF‑Voyager working groups. The position also assists with administrative processes, records management, and coordination across internal teams and external mission partners.

As a Cross-functional Working Group Planner your duties will include the following but not limited to:

  • Maintain and update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), including time‑phased planning, milestone tracking, and dependency management.

  • Consolidate schedule inputs from multiple teams to maintain accurate, traceable, and synchronized planning data.

  • Participate in IPTs, cross‑functional working groups, and TF‑Voyager working groups to gather updates and communicate schedule impacts.

  • Assist with schedule analysis, including critical path, dependencies, and risk‑related considerations.

  • Maintain project schedules, action trackers, and deliverables using Microsoft Project, SharePoint, TEAMS, and similar tools.

  • Provide administrative and coordination support across PMO/TSO functions, including meeting preparation, documentation, and communication management.

  • Support administrative/C2 processes such as TMT and other task management workflows.

  • Manage records and information using SharePoint, file storage systems, and established records management practices.

  • Prepare routine briefings, charts, and planning products for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Coordinate meetings, events, and working sessions across PMO/TSO and external partners.

  • Monitor progress of assigned tasks, assemble staffing packages, and ensure proper routing and completion.

  • Use task management systems (e.g., TMT, ETMS2) to track taskers, review submissions, and elevate issues requiring leadership attention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 2 + years’ experience supporting project planning, scheduling, or program integration activities.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and standard project management tools.

  • Familiarity with SharePoint, records management practices, and administrative workflows.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work across multiple teams and support cross‑functional working groups.

  • Ability to support TF‑Voyager working groups and multi‑agency coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or government programs.

  • Exposure to IMP/IMS concepts, WBS development, and time‑phased scheduling.

  • Knowledge of EVMS, MBSE, or digital engineering environments.

  • Certifications such as CAPM, PMI‑SP, or DAU coursework.

Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Work Location: Onsite, Colorado Springs, CO

Travel: Yes, 0-10%

Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract: Yes

Salary Range - Colorado:  $90,000-$120,000

The salary range information is a general guideline only.  Several factors can influence the salary for a position including but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, geographic location, business considerations, scope and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications.
