What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • 3-5 years’ experience planning, conducting, and communicating the findings from user research for digital products and services, ideally with a focus on technical users
  • A strong ability to understand and articulate user needs, as well as to generate and communicate compelling & actionable insights
  • A strong understanding of the digital product lifecycle and the ability to collaborate successfully with designers, technical & business teams
  • Proven knowledge of an array of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and how to combine them to generate the most actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence leaders as well as peers
  • Ability and interest in running short-term tactical studies to inform rapid product iteration, with some experience and desire to plan and run strategic research with a longer time horizon and wider impact
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis tools, including Qualtrics, GreatQuestion, GetFeedback, Amplitude and Looker
  • A proven track record in conducting mixed-method research studies and an ability to demonstrate the impact of research
  • An interest in collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and colleagues from across the organization
  • Previous experience within the Cloud computing industry is preferred but not required
  • Experience in market research is also a plus
Compensation Range:
