Fluent continues to experience significant growth in its client base (Tier-1 to Tier-3 sell-side and buy-side participants) and develop next-generation products. We want to expand our global Sales footprint and company profile across North America. 

Fluent seeks a mid-senior individual to drive its new business technology sales and business development efforts in North America. The role demands that the individual be a highly motivated self-starter, have extensive eFX market knowledge and contacts, and have a proven track record in FX market trading technology sale

Requirements
  • Drive sales and business development efforts across North America. Based in New York will be an advantage
  • Establish, leverage and cultivate strong relationships with a large number of Tier-1 to Tier-3 participants, FX market LPs and venues
  • Work towards becoming a key Fluent product suite expert, personally drive qualification, next steps, follow up and close paths.
  • Achieve and consistently surpass regional targets for the financial year
  • Build, grow and track an extensive prospect pipeline that leads to regularly closing new business
  • Take ownership of regional RFI/RFP responses - optimizing sale value and chances of prospect acceptance
  • Provide consistent feedback regarding the market place, participants and vendor activities and trends. 
  • Contribute to the product strategies to enhance the product opportunity and marketability

Key knowledge / skills required:

  • A proven FX financial technology sales track record over the last 7 years, of consistently overachieving sales targets is essential
  • Extensive bank tiers 1 to 3 relationship and contact network, including C-level, are essential
  • Hungry self-starter, passionate, articulate professional with experience working in North America
  • Experience in selling and understanding complex solutions within FX trading and technology
  • High level of understanding of the financial markets workflows across FX; from front to mid and back office, and knowledge of data and transaction technology lifecycle
  • Presentation Skills: Proven ability to succinctly articulate the value proposition and differentiators to set Fluent solutions and products apart from the competition
  • Experience in gathering detailed requirements at all organizational levels with the ability to engage, persuade and influence the VP and C levels
  • Strong team player who can effectively collaborate with various parts of the organization remotely with support, product, development, IT, QA and professional services
