Position overview
We’re looking for a results-driven National Sales Director to join our US sales team. In this role, you will play a key role in driving sales growth within your designated market. This role is dedicated to sales, requiring relentless pursuit of new business opportunities, strong client relationship-building skills, and a commitment to exceeding sales targets. You will be out in the field extensively, spending significant time with clients and on the road to generate leads, establish and nurture relationships, and achieve revenue growth. You will be highly incentivized to drive sales and the total compensation package will be rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a tailored sales plan for your Named Accounts. Identify growth areas, target clients, and sales tactics to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities. Understand client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements
- Lead Generation: Continuously generate leads through various prospecting methods, including networking, cold calling, and industry events
- Business Development: Identify and capture new business opportunities within your market. Collaborate closely with potential clients to understand their needs and present compelling solutions
- Sales Presentations: Deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, effectively showcasing the value of our products/services, our technology capabilities and addressing any concerns or objections
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within your market. Leverage this knowledge to adapt and refine your sales strategy
- Road Warrior Mentality: Be willing to spend a significant amount of time on the road, meeting with clients, attending industry events, and nurturing relationships that drive business growth
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities in your market
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales, with a focus on generating new business revenue
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets
- Willingness to travel extensively within your designated market
