What You Will Experience In This Role:

The UI/UX Designer is a key member of the product team, focused on creating intuitive, user-centered experiences within our Aircraft Health Management product suite. This role is responsible for translating complex workflows and user needs into clean, modern designs that drive usability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.

The UI/UX Designer collaborates closely with product managers, developers, and customers to understand use cases and translate them into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and polished interface designs. This role acts as the design advocate across the organization, ensuring consistency with our design system and alignment with stakeholder expectations.

The position requires strong communication and presentation skills, as it is both customer-facing and the primary design point of contact within the product organization. The UI/UX Designer will work across cross-functional teams — including engineering, marketing, and customer success — to ensure that design solutions support business goals and deliver a seamless user experience from concept to release.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform complex aviation workflows into intuitive, user-centered design solutions.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and elevate product visuals, interaction patterns, and overall experience.
  • Create high-quality UX deliverables including journey maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready UI designs in Figma.
  • Ensure a cohesive and accessible design system across web and mobile, supporting consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of UI designs using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular Material v19+).
  • Conduct usability testing, competitive benchmarking, and heuristic evaluations to validate and improve design outcomes.
  • Advocate for best-in-class usability, accessibility, and responsive design across devices and browsers.
  • Stay current with UX/UI trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies — especially within aviation and enterprise SaaS.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or related field.
  • 4+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for complex, data-rich web applications (aviation, aerospace, or enterprise SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles, interaction design, and ability to translate requirements into elegant interfaces.
  • High proficiency in Figma for wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI design, and design system usage.
  • Exposure to AI-driven product design.
  • Experience designing dashboards, workflow-driven UIs, and responsive layouts across devices and browsers.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies and modern component libraries (e.g., HTML, CSS/SaSS, Angular Material) to support seamless handoff to engineering.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Experience conducting usability testing or expert reviews to validate design decisions.
  • Familiarity with tools and processes such as Jira, Confluence, and accessibility standards (WCAG).
