About Air Space Intelligence

ASI started with a simple vision - build Google Maps for the skies. Our mission-critical technology now powers decision-making across major airlines, the U.S. Department of Defense, and other critical infrastructure domains. Backed by top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Spark Capital, and Renegade Partners, ASI delivers operational decision superiority—compressing days of analysis into seconds of action. ASI is leading the way and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

What you will do:
As a Visual Designer at Air Space Intelligence, you’ll craft intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and shape our brand to empower airlines, defense organizations, and government partners in complex airspace systems. With a strong focus on UX/UI, you’ll design seamless experiences that drive mission-critical decisions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Design and prototype responsive UI components for new product proposals, prioritizing usability and scalability.

  • Develop and refine features for existing products, optimizing for clarity in high-density data environments.

  • Maintain and expand our design system to ensure consistency across web-based applications.

  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and operational requirements.

  • Leverage user research to craft impactful, intuitive experiences for complex workflows.

What we value:

  • Expertise in visual and interaction design for data-rich web applications, with a strong portfolio showcasing intuitive, user-centered interfaces.

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma (or similar), and comfort working with design systems and component libraries.

  • A strong sense of visual hierarchy, typography, and layout, especially when designing for dense, operationally critical environments.

  • Fluency in UX principles, with an ability to translate complex workflows into clear, efficient user journeys.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and end users, to align design with real-world operational needs.

  • Comfort working in iterative design processes, incorporating feedback, research, and performance insights to refine and evolve your work.

  • An eye for consistency and scalability, with a drive to maintain a unified design language across multiple products and use cases.

  • Understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices, ensuring interfaces work across devices and for all users.

  • A passion for mission-driven design, especially in domains that require precision, clarity, and real-world impact.
