Our portfolio includes chart-topping games like Mob Control and Block Jam, alongside popular apps such as BeReal and Wizz.
TeamOur Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual, and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing, and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.
Joining our Gaming team means collaborating with industry experts to build the visual interfaces and seamless user experiences that power the next generation of hit games. You will be a key partner to our game studios, enabling them to bridge the gap between static design and a living, breathing game interface.
You will be joining one of our Live Studios, working on Hole.io, one of Voodoo's top games.
RoleWe are looking for a talented UI Technical Artist with a deep mastery of the Unity UI pipeline to help our teams deliver polished, high-performance, and visually stunning interfaces. You will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of UI assets, ensuring that our menus, HUDs, and buttons are not only pixel-perfect but also highly optimized for millions of mobile devices.
Build and maintain robust UI prefabs in Unity, ensuring they are scalable, reusable, and easy for engineers to hook into game logic.
Implement 9-slicing (9-scale grids) and complex layout systems to ensure UI elements adapt seamlessly to various mobile aspect ratios and resolutions.
Manage and optimize UI assets, including sprite importing, texture compression settings, and the creation of Sprite Atlases to minimize draw calls and memory overhead.
Collaborate closely with UI/UX Designers to translate static mockups (Figma/Photoshop) into functional Unity layouts while maintaining visual fidelity.
Work with Software Engineers to define UI architectures that support dynamic content and localized text.
Polish the user experience by setting up UI animations, particle effects, and transitions within Unity.
With this role, you will have a strong impact on the company by contributing daily to the "look and feel" of a global hit. Your technical expertise in UI implementation will directly empower our game studios to iterate faster and provide a smoother experience to millions of players.
