🚀 About Compa

Compa is a venture-backed SaaS startup revolutionizing the future of compensation.

In a dynamic job market with hiring challenges, accountability, and the rise of AI, companies need the best data to stay ahead of industry changes, competition, and costs. Compa has developed the premier real-time compensation data platform, delivering top-tier compensation intelligence to leading enterprise teams.

Compa is a compensation intelligence company built to augment enterprise compensation teams in the era of AI.

Our customers include the world’s biggest companies: NVIDIA, Stripe, DoorDash, Open AI, TMobile, Moderna, Workday, Ulta, Target, and more.

Locations:

Compa headquarters are located in Irvine, California, with growing sites in Denver, Colorado and San Francisco, California. We’re a collaborative, curious, and driven team that values transparency, ownership, and continuous learning and prioritizing in person work where possible.

The Role:

UI Engineering at Compa is the connective layer between product intent and user experience; where decisions around structure, interaction, and maintainability all converge.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, product, engineering, and user experience. You’ll help translate ideas into elegant, functional interfaces; shaping not just how things look, but how they work and evolve.

You’ll be joining an existing lead UIE to scale Compa’s UI infra and products.

Software engineers at Compa have a high degree of ownership and autonomy to build the systems powering the future of enterprise compensation at a global scale.

Compa has a wide breadth of projects that will continue to expand as we grow. A few examples of projects are: finding new ways to bring its unique data to HR teams, leveraging Artificial Intelligence to unlock new insights and predictions related to the labor market, building tools to scale our internal operations, ensuring engineering excellence throughout our stack, and maintaining our enterprise grade security posture.

You will join Compa’s world-class, in-house engineering team and partner with Compa’s co-founders to build and scale the company, it’s systems, and products.

You have a high-level of trust and autonomy to build our core systems and influence the product roadmap.
