What You Will Do:
Design & UX
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that reflect user needs and business goals.
- Define and evolve the visual design system for our web presence in collaboration with the Design Director.
- Ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine interactions and improve user flows.
Engineering
- Translate designs into responsive, interactive, production-ready front-end code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components.
- Optimize performance, maintainability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Establish and manage quality control processes, including cross-browser/device testing, accessibility reviews, and design fidelity checks, ensuring every release meets brand and performance standards.
Collaboration
- Partner closely with the Technical Web Leader to align UX/UI work with technical roadmaps.
- Work with the Design Director to ensure brand and creative consistency.
- Advocate for user experience best practices across the organization.
What You Will Have:
- Experience in both UI/UX design and front-end engineering.
- Portfolio showcasing strong design work and implemented web projects.
- Proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping.
- Strong front-end coding skills (HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar).
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
- 3 years of experience in front-end development, UX engineering, or a hybrid design/engineering role.
- Background in user research or usability testing.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills - comfortable working with both designers and developers.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Experience with animation/motion libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie).
- Experience with CMS platforms e.g. WordPress.
- Familiarity with back-end technologies (PHP) for integration.
