The SLED Program Director plays a critical leadership role within Kaseware’s U.S. Government Practice, overseeing account management across our State and Local portfolio. This position blends strategic account ownership with hands-on leadership of a regional team of Account Managers, ensuring that public safety and government accounts realize exceptional value from Kaseware’s platform. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with public safety operations and technology programs, thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, and excels at fostering strong relationships that drive long-term account retention, satisfaction, and adoption.

Job Type: Full-time, Exempt

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee a portfolio of State and Local accounts, ensuring retention, satisfaction, and ongoing adoption of the Kaseware application.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Account Managers, providing strategic direction, coaching, and oversight of regional account performance.
  • Own a number of high-impact strategic accounts, owning an upsell quota, maintaining executive relationships and serving as the primary commercial and operational point of contact.
  • Become proficient in demonstrating the Kaseware platform
  • Partner cross-functionally with Program Management, Product, and Customer Operations teams to ensure successful implementations, renewals, and expansion readiness.
  • Develop multi-year account strategies focused on long-term account success, value realization, and growth opportunities aligned with Kaseware’s mission.
  • Conduct and review QBRs and Executive Business Reviews, demonstrating measurable value, program outcomes, and roadmap alignment.
  • Monitor account health and key performance indicators, including adoption metrics, satisfaction, renewal forecasting, and contract performance
  • Serve as an escalation point for account concerns, coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to highlight account success stories, public safety use cases, and referenceable outcomes.
  • Contribute to practice-level planning, including forecasting, contract strategy, and account prioritization across the State and Local segment.
  • Expected to contribute to new business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and managing related operational and reporting activities
  • Travel requirements: Up to 50% travel.

Required Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

Required Skills &  Experience:

  • 7–12 years of experience supporting or managing enterprise or public-safety technology programs, ideally within public safety, justice, or critical infrastructure environments, with a focus on end-users, account management, or operational leadership.
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term government or public safety relationships, with strong management experience.
  • Strong understanding of State and Local procurement processes
  • Excellent communication, executive presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to bridge technical and operational perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the security, intelligence, or law enforcement sectors.
  • Public Safety leadership experience.

Expected compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $160,000 -  OTE:  $170,000 to $205,000

Kaseware is a rapidly growing start-up located in the Denver metro area. We build state-of-the-art software for law enforcement and corporate security customers. We serve those that serve our communities and make our world safer.

Due to the nature of our business, you must be able to pass a full CJIS compliant fingerprint based background check, which is required for individuals needing access to criminal justice information (CJI).

We expect this position to be available until Dec 15th or until filled.
