This position is responsible for safely supporting rail operations through loading/unloading, material handling, and assisting with railcar movement. This role is based in Keenesburg, CO, but requires travel to other sites as operationally needed.Transloader (Entry Level) – Keenesburg, CO
Pay Rate: $22.00–$24.00/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Days- weekends as needed.
Travel Required: Yes — must be willing and able to travel to other sites as needed, sometimes with short notice

Railserve is a leading provider of in-plant rail switching, transloading, and material handling services—operating at over 75 locations in North America. We use our own locomotives and employees to safely move railcars within industrial, manufacturing, and production plants.
In addition to railcar switching, we provide transloading, railcar loading/unloading, track maintenance, inspection, repair, and more.

The RoleThis position is responsible for safely supporting rail operations through loading/unloading, material handling, and assisting with railcar movement. This role is based in Keenesburg, CO, but requires travel to other sites as operationally needed.
We are open to training entry-level candidates.
What You’d Be DoingPerform railcar loading/unloading operations safely
Operate equipment such as loaders, forklifts, and related machinery (training provided)
Perform daily safety checks and inspections
Assist with railcar movement under the direction of the crew
Operate switches, derails, gates, and related track equipment
Couple/uncouple railcars and apply/release hand brakes
Use radios and hand signals to communicate safely
Maintain clean, safe work areas
Travel to support other sites as needed
Other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent required
Military experience helpful
All experience levels welcome — training available
Extremely dependable and punctual; must have reliable transportation
Good communication skills; strong active listening
Ability to balance multiple tasks and work as part of a team
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather
Must be able to travel whenever required
Frequent standing and walking
Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling
Ability to lift and move heavy items
Full range of vision required (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus)
Moderate to heavy physical effort
Climbing, walking, balancing on railcars
Use of hand tools and power tools
Must follow all prescribed safety rules
