Lionbridge is currently seeking freelance English Transcribers based in the United States to collaborate on a project with one of the world's leading education companies.
Position Requirements:
· Native-level proficiency in English
· Residency in the United States
· Previous transcription experience
· Typing speed of at least 55 words per minute
· A bachelor’s degree in a language-related field (such as Linguistics, TESOL, Language Studies, or English) is advantageous but NOT a must, same with teaching experience is a plus
Project Details:
· Work Scope: A minimum of 10 to a maximum of 20 hours per week, with a purchase order created after each week of work.
· Duration: The project is scheduled to commence in late February or early March and will conclude in mid-May.
· Training: Participants must successfully complete specific training, which includes a speed test and two rounds of training, totaling approximately 8-10 hours. Compensation is provided for training hours.
o Training Structure:
§ 0.5-hour typing speed test. Upon passing,
§ Round 1: 3-5 hours. Upon passing,
§ Round 2: up to 4 hours.
